Super Healthy Recipes – Salmon Burgers

Whilst these are all healthy recipes, they aren’t specific to any type of fitness program, so if you’re trying to build muscle, or trying to lose weight, the food you may want to eat will be determined by that as well.

However we hope that some of the recipes included in our series will work for you and open your taste buds to a whole new experience!

Today’s recipe is Salmon Burgers and they really are incredible!

And here’s what you need:

4 boneless, skinless salmon fillets , about 550g/1lb 4oz in total, cut into chunks
2 tbsp Thai red curry paste
Thumb-size piece fresh root ginger , grated
1 tsp soy sauce
1 bunch coriander , half chopped, half leaves picked
1 tsp vegetable oil
Lemon wedges, to serve

Serves: 4
Prep time: 20 mins
Cook time: 10 mins

Tip the salmon into a food processor with the paste, ginger, soy and chopped coriander. Pulse until roughly minced. Tip out the mix and shape into 4 burgers. Heat the oil in a non-stick frying pan, then fry the burgers for 4-5 mins on each side, turning until crisp and cooked through.

For an even healthier option, bake the burgers in the oven until cooked through.
Serve with salad and rice.

It really couldn’t be any easier!
